We are delighted to invite you to view our forthcoming auction at The Cheshire Saleroom in Macclesfield.

Day One includes Furniture, Garden & Architectural items, Clocks, Collectors Items, Bronze & Sculptures, Asian Art, Glass Ceramics and Cars & Automobilia. 

Highlights include Lot 1279, a Morris Mini 1000, estimated at £5,000 - £6,000 and a Honda Gold Wing GL1100 motorcycle and side car, estimated at £3,500 - £3,800; one of nine motorcycles in the auction. 

The Bronze & Sculpture section showcases 29 lots with fantastic examples of figural and animal sculptural pieces by Antonin Mercie, Felix Maurice Charpentier, Ferdinand Lepcke, Hector Lemaire, Lucien Alliot, Lucien Coudray and Otto Richter. 

Day Two presents a large specialist Silver section with 451 lots to peruse. With traditional canteens and tableware, including Lot 2040, a serpentine silver tea caddy by Arthur Sibley, hallmarked for London 1872 and estimated at £400-£600; to more fun and whimsical pieces such as Lot 2042, a Patrick Mavros silver 'Warthog Family' sculpture and Lot 2049, a set of twelve Italian white and yellow metal menu or place holders, each modelled with a different animal. Both lots are estimated at £200-300. 

 

The Coin section follows which includes a rare Charles I gold unite, circa 1641-1643, estimated at £1,500 - £2,000. 

 

 

The Paintings section concludes the auction with traditional scenes including Lot 2623, a a chamber music scene by German artist Rene Reinicke, estimated at £1,000 - £1,500 and more romantic and serene rural scenes as seen in Lot 2624, a poignant rural scene with mountains by German artists Hans Frank estimated at £400 - £600.
