Northern & Contemporary Art

Inspired by a region so vast and varied, from the docks of Merseyside via the industrial backdrop of Manchester, to the rolling hills of Yorkshire, and all in between, the North has inspired all manner of creativity and storytelling, from the music of The Beatles to the classic works of the Brontë sisters. Not to be overshadowed by its counterparts, the art world and particularly the genre of Northern & Contemporary Art has given a platform to some of the most identifiable artists of recent times, with the style remaining as popular as it ever was.

February 2025 will see works created by some of the North’s most loved artists, including Arthur Delaney, Helen Bradley and Pierre Adolphe Valette, go under the hammer at Adam Partridge Auctioneers & Valuers at The Cheshire Saleroom in an Auction of Northern & Contemporary Art.
