Aaron studied Fine Art Valuation at Southampton Solent University, gaining a first with honours, before joining Dreweatt’s in Newbury. Very quickly he was asked to join Gorringes in Lewes as a valuer and cataloguer where he gained in-depth experience valuing and cataloguing all departments and progressed to become a general valuer and auctioneer. It was also at Gorringes that Aaron became interested in books and historic documents.
In 2013 Aaron returned to his roots in Shropshire to be closer to his family. Following a time with Halls in Shrewsbury Aaron co-founded his own auction house in Whitchurch in 2014. In 2019 Aaron chose to relocate to Cheshire with his partner to establish permanent roots and enjoy a career break.
Aaron returned to the auction profession in 2021, joining Adam Partridge as Senior Valuer and Auctioneer. Aaron is a good general valuer who also specialises in books, historic documents and ephemera and has a keen interest in furniture, fine art, clocks, works of art and those obscure objects from history which don’t pigeonhole into a category!
