Antiques valuation day to be held at the magnificent historic mansion Stokesay Court, Shropshire, Saturday 6th September 2014 11am-5pm

Stokesay Court will host Adam Partridge and his team of expert valuers who will provide appraisals of your antiques in The Great Hall at the historically important and beautifully set Victorian mansion.

Stokesay Court is nestled in the undulating countryside of south Shropshire boasting grounds of unparalleled beauty and enviable panoramic views of Ludlow. Erected in 1892 by John Derby-Allcroft, a philanthropic entrepreneur specialising in the manufacture of gloves, it has seen two world wars, played host to wounded soldiers during The Great War, masqueraded as a school for evacuated pupils studying at Lancing College during the Second World War and even starred in the award winning film Atonement.

Adam Partridge set up Adam Partridge Auctioneers in 2008 and now runs two busy fine art auction rooms in Macclesfield and Liverpool with a valuation office in Hale, Cheshire. Since 2002 he has regularly appeared as an expert on BBC's Flog It! and will have with him his experienced team of valuers (to include fellow Flog It! expert and specialist Michael Baggott) together covering all aspects of antiques & fine art. Throughout the year they hold a variety of specialist auctions of Jewellery, Asian Art, Paintings, Silver, Clocks, Militaria, Watches, Classic Cars, Musical Instruments, Ceramics and many more.
