23/01/2015 : First Auction of 2015
The first auction of 2015 at the Cheshire Saleroom was a small but successful occasion.
The top price of the one day sale was an Art Deco bronze and ivory figure of a female dancer, attributed to Ferdinand Preiss. Despite being in two pieces, the lot sold for £2,800. A large Indian wall hanging also did well, reaching a price of £1,250, and the pictured piano fetched £1,200.
The next sale at Adam Partridge Macclesfield is on the 5th & 6th March and features specialist sections of Northern Art, Silver, Watches and Jewellery. Entries are being taken until Monday 16th February.
In the next few months, we have specialist sales of Stamps & Ephemera, Studio Ceramics & Glass, Decorative Arts, Tribal Art & Ethnographica, Sporting & Militaria, Asian Art, Musical Instruments, and Classic & Vintage Cars.
Free valuation days take place every Monday at Macclesfield from 9:30am until 7pm.
