23/12/2016 : December Sale Highlights

The last auction at The Cheshire Saleroom was an eventful and very busy event. There was a lot of excitement both in the room and online. Here are some of the highlights...

This Art Deco style white metal and diamond set cuff bracelet with nine pierced panels set and three principal bezel set diamonds sold for £18,000 following some heated bidding in the auction room.

The Cheshire Saleroom was pleased to have this rare boxed and sealed 70cl bottle of Remy Martin Louis XIII ''Black Pearl'' Grande Champagne Cognac drawn from a single 100 year old tiercon (blending cask) using a special blend of 1200 eaux-de-vie between 40 and 100 years old and presented in the Black Pearl Baccarat crystal decanter, numbered C100. It sold for an impressive £6000.

This cased specimen set of 1902 coins, including a half sovereign, a sovereign a £2 piece and a £5 piece, sold in the room for £5100, well over the highest estimate.
