EMMANUEL COOPER (1938-2012); a large conical porcelain bowl, bright yellow glaze, bronzed rim and gold highlights, impressed mark, diameter 30cm. 


JOHN WARD (born 1938); a large stoneware black and white bowl, impressed JW mark, gallery label, maximum diameter 30.5cm.

Provenance: Purchased from The Stour Gallery, Shipston on Stour.


ABDO NAGI (1941-2001); a large porcelain charger covered in streaky turquoise glaze with manganese rim, impressed mark, made 2000, diameter 45cm.


Featuring a benefit auction of ceramics in aid of Clay College, Stoke, including work by Johnny Vegas, Kate Malone, Keith Brymer Jones and contestants of the Great Pottery Throw Down TV series.

JOHN W. MILLS (born 1933); a large bronze sculpture 'Curved Neck Grace', length 183cm, height 122cm.

Exhibited: Alwin Gallery, London, 1983

This large sculpture was one of six horse sculptures created by Mills for which he received the Otto Beit medal in 1983 and the only example remaining in the UK. The work has been fully authenticated by Mills and this particular sculpture has an interesting past having once been the victim of crime. John W Mills has also noted that he has secretly signed the piece in a mystery location.
