Highlights include an impressive jewellery section featuring diamond rings in a range of weights up to 9cts, watches including a Jahan sapphire set wristwatch and an 18ct white gold Rolex set with diamonds and sapphires, a fascinating archive relating to William Barrows, a steward who died on board the Titanic (more info here), an oil painting of Newlyn by Joan Gillchrest, a Hermes Birkin handbag, an archive of material relating to Inspector Alexander Usher, former bodyguard to Queen Elizabeth II before she was made queen, including many photographs showing Usher and the Princess (more info here), plus much more.
