Over 1700 lots will include a good collection of Northern and Contemporary Art featuring artists such as; William Ralph Turner (one pictured below), Trevor Grimshaw, Anthony Robert Klitz, James Lawrence Isherwood, Bernard Meadows (a painting and abstract bronze relief plaques), Brian Shields, Pat Cooke, Marc Grimshaw, Harold Riley and many more. One of the stand out paintings is by Stuart Sutcliffe, the original Beatles bassist or the 'Fifth Beatle' who left the band to pursue a career in art and died tragically at the age of 22 from a brain aneurysm.
Condition reports and additional images are available on request but are to be requested no later than 5.30pm on Tuesday 24th September 2013.
