Highlights include a fascinating collection of scientific items relating to the eradictaion of smallpox from Derrick Baxby, Ph.D., FRCPath, Honorary Research Fellow, the contents of Brynderwen Hall in Llanfvllin including several portraits and taxidermy items, other paintings including works by Philip Hermogenes Calderon, Gilbert Scott Wright, Edwin Douglas, etc, many medals including 2 important groups with their archives; two WWII DFMs to a pilot and navigator, and a Falklands MBE medal group, a collection of 200 carriage, mantel, longcase, and other clocks, jewellery including Russian cufflinks believed to be a gift from Tsar Nicholas II, guns including an 1851 Navy Colt and an 80 bore double trigger revolver, watches including Rolex, Cartier and Bueche Girod, and much more.
