Condition Report

A few nibbles to the rim, a small fine 2cm hairline from the rim, a firing flaw to the interior, some pitting to the body, a firing flaw to the foot rim and base spurning a fine crack.

The cover is split and slightly misfitting, the jar itself has some pitting to the outside, otherwise OK. Diameter of the aperture 6.5cm, base 11cm, height 17.5cm, widest point approx 16.5cm.

Condition Report

Chip to inside of the cafe au lait rim approx 1.3cm, surface dirt particularly to the inside, wear to base, numerous areas of rubbing to the paint particularly to the band and handle, fritting to the handle and a chip to lower part, a few chips to the edge of the base, some firing imperfections, areas of scratched and few nibbles to the main body.

Double gourd vase with figural landscape has major area of losses to the rim, finial of cover is broken off. The other has a hairline spreading from the rim approx 2.5cm. Vase in good condition with rubbing and minor losses to the pierced decoration of the cover.

Condition Report

There is major crudely reglued damage to the base, length 22cm, with areas of minor losses and one larger loss along the line of breakage, both dragon handles have losses particularly to the heads and claws and tails. Major area of breakage to the flared rim (triangular area measuring approx 30 x 17 x 28cm has been broken off and reglued with two large losses to the rim). Enamelling appears to be intact with only odd areas of flaking, some firing imperfections such as pitting.
