A good quality brass King's Crown badge inscribed 'Honi soit qui mal y pense', mounted on a specifically crafted solid heavy brass backing mount to form a substantial paperweight, with red baize to the underside, the detailing, the King's Crown and the legend are in raised relief and there is raised scrolling and initialling within the oval display area, height 10.5cm, width 7.8cm.

Condition Report

Blade with some pitting/scratches, some small areas of corrosion to back, and some rubbing to the detail, hilt with general wear, shagreen faded in areas but otherwise ok, scabbard shows wear with some splits to top.
