A miniature suit of armour in the 16th century style, the chest plate with an etched crest, the faulds with applied double headed eagles, the poleynes and greaves with etched masks above reticulated sabatons and the suit with engraved foliate scroll decoration throughout, the lower section with velvet upholstered midriff and legs on wooden internal frame, accompanied by miniature longsword with indistinct engraved maker's marks, length of blade 52cm, height of suit approx 95cm, on wooden stand.
