1851 The Great Exhibition; A mid 19th century English porcelain cup and saucer, the cup decorated with a view on the road from Hyde Park Corner, within a gilt heightened cartouche with gilt bands to the rim and foot, the saucer with no indentation for the cup, decorated with interior view of the building with gilt heightened border, retailed by Green of London and bearing Victorian date cipher for 1851 to both pieces, diameter of saucer 15cm. An identical cup and saucer is located in the Victoria and Albert Museum.
