An opposing pair of 19th century Mintons moon flasks after design by Dr Christopher Dresser, pate-sur-pate decorated with cherubic figures on olive green ground and with gilt heightened details, on four outswept supports, signed SH [?], unmarked, one signed 'T. Goode & Co London', height 16.5cm (one badly af).

Condition Report

One of the vases has been broken in numerous pieces and crudely reglued with areas of losses and rubbing and flaking to gilding, both with extensive crazing to the glaze throughout, the other vase with heavy traces of wear to the gilt neck.

Condition Report

One vase has a broken lid, both have losses to the gilt bases, one dolphin has been cracked and crudely repaired, one rim has cracks, surface wear and dirt commensurate with age.

Condition Report

Numerous areas of losses to the floral encrusted decoration particularly to the pair of smaller vases where it seems there is a larger piece missing from central body of each vase, also one of the smaller vases has got a hair line crack spreading from the rim.

Condition Report

The stem of the tree has been broken and crudely repaired, some chips and a small portion missing of the fluted sconce, otherwise in fairly good repair, some surface dirt which should be removable.

Condition Report

General minor surface wear and dirt commensurate with age, areas of losses to encrusted decoration both to the shell and base, a few manufacturing imperfections particularly to area of left knee/calf, area of losses to the wing, minor chip to the little finger of left hand, rubbing to the gilt and areas of crazing.

Condition Report

Areas of losses to the floral encrusted decoration, on of the handles has a loss to one of the foliate tips, some rubbing to the gild, one of the finials has a head and arm broken off and crudely reglued, the other cherub finial had his head broken off and reglued, a small nib to the inside top rim of one of the urns.
