Condition Report

A large chip to the lower corner to the back, extensive crazing to the glaze throughout, a chip to the top edge and an area of frtting with a few smaller areas of frtting to the same edge, chip to the top of the left hand side volute, areas of chips and nibbles along the lower edge including a large stained example and a chip to the right hand corner of the base, and few areas of chips, fritting throughout, also areas of surface wear such as scratches and rubbing and surface dirt, no visible traces of major damage or restoration.

Condition Report

Generally in good condition with no obvious traces of damage or restoration, surface dirt and some wear, numerous areas of pitting, a large area of firing imperfection to the base, some areas of hairlines, some spreading from the rim and some from the base, also a star hairline, and an area of stained crazing to the glaze to the inside, areas of dirt which look like stains of glue although no visible gluing, chip to the edge of the base.

The Derby Bessborough in Ireland plate with areas of dirt to underneath of the rim, numerous areas of rubbing to the gilt and a few chips to the edge of the base, the other Derby plate with wear to base and rubbing to the gilt, the Bloor Derby plate with slightly rubbed mark, wear to base, a few hairlines spreading from the rim, fine extensive crazing to the glaze, rubbing to the gilt, all with minor surface wear.
