Condition Report

Generally in good condition apart from some wear to the feet including three with visible areas of splits to the inside, possibly slightly restored, some very minor general wear to the surface commensurate with age particularly to the inside of the bowl possibly caused by the crystal liner, hallmarks majorly rubbed to the outside of the bowl and slightly rubbed to the faceted base, possible area of restoration to the centre of the bowl where the base is attached the bead decorated stem (visible to the inside), areas of minor nibbles to some edges of the crystal glass liner.

Condition Report

Both appear to be in very good condition apart from very fine scratches commensurate with age and areas of mild rubbing to the gilt such as edges of covers and some raised areas, area of staining to one of the covers, the handle of the other cover is slightly loose, small areas of residues of cleaning products.

Generally in good condition, the engraved decoration is later, the central area is thinner, re-engraved and with pin pricked work, possibly covering original inscription and mild damage/split in this area, spots of staining to the top, numerous minor scratches and small dints commensurate with age, few major scratches to underneath, stamped number 351.

The rim is a separate component and is applied to the main body and is bearing a separate hallmark of lion, surface wear throughout particularly to the base with numerous scratches and with large area of tarnish/staining, otherwise appears good.

Condition Report

General wear with scratches, minor pitting, etc throughout. No apparent earlier engraving, cannot feel any thin spots. A little rubbed but everything is visible.
