A pair of late 18th century Derby porcelain ewers of ovoid forms with high satyr mask decorated loop handles and crimped rims, raised on spreading circular feet to square bases, painted with two opposing oval reserves depicting landscape to one side and fête champêtre figures, flying mark to base and painted mark to the top of one of the base corners, height 27cm (extensively restored).

Condition Report

Both vases have extensive restoration area to upper part and handles, surface wear and scratches, flaking to the painted reserves, areas of restoration to spreading feet, one ring with chip.

Both are very dirty as have been kept in a garage for a number of years, crazing to both and rubbing to the raised sections, the reverse of one of them has moulded ''stilts'' one of which is broken. otherwise ok.
