The shaped circular pair with areas of rubbing to the gilt, one with partially rubbed mark, the set of six dinner plates and two smaller examples appear to be in good condition, none of the items with obvious traces of damage or restoration, majority with surface dirt to underneath, some with traces of old stickers. A late 19th/early 20th century German porcelain ornamental comport with stem modelled as three figures surrounding a tree stump overall decorated with encrusted floral decoration, on a similarly decorated tripartite base with scrolling feet, supporting an oval bowl with pierced sides, height 42.5cm, a pair of Vienna style porcelain urn shaped vases with figural transfer decoration on pink ground, unmarked, height 32cm including finials, and a Meissen imitation 'onion' pattern decorated shallow soup bowl, diameter 22cm (4).

The pair of vases with heavy running to the gilt, the comport bowl needs reattaching to the stem, with some minor losses to encrusted decoration, loss to gentleman's hat, the Meissen imitation plate with some fritting and a few chips to the rim.

A pair of late 19th century French porcelain vases with covers, one painted with allegory of wealth depicting people feasting at the table, the other depicting allegory of poverty with street scene with people being given bread, both signed by Henry Catelin, of a famous Sèvres painter, within two mould cobalt blue and gilt heightened bands with gilt metal detail to top and ornamental square bases on acanthus leaf motif supports, height 47.5cm including the pine cone finial (one af).

One of the covers is badly broken and crudely reglued with some loose pieces, majority present, one vase has got a large restored crack running from the neck to the base, the other vase with crack all around the lower part, approx 3cm above the foot, both vases with fritting and chips to the edge of the circular base, rubbing to the gilt and some tarnish to gilt metal parts, minor surface dirt and wear commensurate with age, the vase depicting poverty has got area of overpainting and some traces of later paint to the lid visible when examined under UV light; both vases restored

Condition Report

Both covers are badly af, both restored, one broken in pieces and crudely reglued, one of the lamps has got the spout broken off and reglued, the top rim and tip of the spout and front part of the pitcher are restored, the place where the main body is attached to the stem appears to be reglued, the other lamp appears to be in better condition with no obvious traces of damage or heavy restoration apart from some surface dirt, both with areas of rubbing to the gilt particularly to raised parts and edges, some surface dirt.
