The single example is missing the release button and therefore does not open, there is no engraving but there are some surface scratches.

Condition Report

Heavily worn with dents, scratches, nicks, etc, lid still closes with a click and sits almost flush with rim however quite a noticeable piece of damage to left upper corner where there has been a loss and again numerous noticeable solder repairs.

Condition Report

Once needle allowed to settle it does indeed find north as seen in picture, some corrosion and wear to needle with ferrous-like build up.

Condition Report

The silver base is heavily worn with dents throughout, major gouges, nicks, crimping, scratches etc, also damage at the joint between the top of the base and the Blue John where some silver has been lost and the under layer exposed.

Condition Report

The flower head has been later enamelled, there is an area of losses to foliate motif to one frame and area of bending to the other in same area, also one of the flower head has got several areas of holes caused by over cleaning and polishing.
