Some damage to the shagreen where it raises to the pommel, a small area missing and a small area to be repaired. Pitting and wear throughout to the metalwork, some pitting to the blade. The scabbard is present but has a large amount of surface damage and scratches.

Pitting to the blade and a few tiny chips to the blade. Pitting to the scabbard.

Pitting and some wear to the metal work, a small split to the shagreen but all present, general light pitting and surface wear to the blade with a couple of small nicks and light pitting to the scabbard. Also bearing the leather knot. Numbered 14031, stamped 5 top of hilt.

Crude glue repair to the shagreen where areas have been repaired and still some losses, the wirework appears to be replaced. Surface wear to the metalwork and also a split through the metal frame itself, also rather crude fitting where it meets the blade indicating a possible alteration. Heavy pitting to the blade and with a third of the scabbard missing.
