Condition Report

Beak is chipped, some surface wear and dirt commensurate with age. One manufacturing imperfection to the right eye. Further light manufacturing imperfections. Glass leg sockets appear intact. Legs appear slightly misshapen resulting in the piece standing precariously when the two pieces are attached one way, and not standing when they are attached the other way.

Hen with one plume broken to the tail edge, hairline crack from tail, at least 8cm, small pitting to base. Cock with tiny abrasion to neck. Cannot see any manufacturing flaws. Bases with stamps to upper side, some surface dirt.

Very minor nibbles to edge of the base, loss to the rib decoration where the tubeline was attached to the edge, otherwise appears in good condition with no obvious damage or restoration.

Figure with loss to sleeve. Small brown vase/ewer with loss to top of lower part of handle (the scroll). Lamp base with chips around the cable channel, central aperture and outside nibbles. Majority in good condition, some with surface wear and odd nibbles to bases.
