HENRI JOSEPH LECOULTRE; a good and early part overture musical box, circa 1826, with walnut case, exposed controls, 17cm cylinder with a diameter of 6cm, with fine comb and approx 22 teeth per inch, with 142 fine hooked tipped teeth, with four airs playing on a three air movement (two tunes on full revolution and two more on half revolution), inscribed in ink to the underside of the base detailing the airs 'La Dame Blanche, Should He Upbraid, Cherry Ripe and La Gazza Ladra', no.224, width of case 31cm.

This musical box has been very well and professionally overhauled and is presented in good order. Slight tarnishing and pitting to the cylinder but overall a fine example.
