An early 20th century figured walnut sewing table with shaped moulded top above two frieze drawers raised on twin turned uprights to square section outswept supports, width 56cm. Note: this sewing table was made by Arthur Brown, an apprentice cabinet maker at Waring & Gillow, he produced this cabinet for Phyllis M. Hopkins as a 21st birthday present and it is purported that this table was exhibited at the Earls Court furniture exhibition c.1923.
