Condition Report

The heart shaped example with heavily misshapen supports causing heavy bending to lower edge where they are attached to the main body, the leather base with heavy surface wear, the rectangular example with slightly misshapen legs, both with general surface wear commensurate with age, areas of dirt particularly to the incised parts, traces of cleaning products.

Condition Report

All examples with lids slightly stiff and jammed, the smaller Levi & Salaman example with three major dents to lower edge, the larger with heavy residues of cleaning products along the inside rim, the William Comyns example is slightly wobbly, all with general surface wear commensurate with age such as mild scratches and small areas of tarnish.
