A 9ct yellow gold and enamel Masonic 'Cheshire' jewel, diameter 3.8cm, on ribbon (cased, two of the mounts marked 9ct), a gilt metal and enamel 'Cheshire' pendant/jewel and two further hallmarked silver and enamel Masonic jewels for the Whiston Lodge no.3614 and Cheshire Masonic Charities 1906 with base metal bar and Chester coat of arms pin (4).

Condition Report

General surface wear throughout, some nibbles to the enamel, rubbing to the gilt where applicable, as stated two of the three ribbon mounts on the first item marked for the gold, the other unmarked.

Condition Report

Surface wear commensurate with age throughout, engraved section to the side with sit lux etc motto appears to have been erased at one time with no decoration now remaining to the rim and scratches throughout the area.

Condition Report

All with wear commensurate with age throughout, the largest circular example with a number of edge knocks and dents to the rim, has been holed to the top as stated, some rubbing, surface scratches, small dents etc. Provenance - very probably also the property of John Smith of the Langley Silk Mills and Mayor of Macclesfield in the 1850s.

Condition Report

General surface wear commensurate with age throughout, some scratches and nicks, wear to the gilt etc. Provenance - probably also the property of John Smith of the Langley Silk Mills and Mayor of Macclesfield in the 1850s. The writing on the top ribbon appears to say 'Exalted in the Albion (?) Chapt. (?) 8th Nov. 1824', no text to the other side. The other side of the jewel with 'Y.Y. Hatton London Bridge Fecit'.
